During a family holiday in Anglesey, I met up with Bud Hodgson, otherwise known to us as Ollie. He and his cousin Steve had recently been busy as part of a promotional launch for the new £60mi superferry, Stena Adventurer, an event that the local paper, The Mail captured in a full colour spread in their middle pages on July 23^rd. Joining them for the photo call was another local girl, Glenys Kinnock guest speaker at the event.

And just to show that The Perry Winkle has readers the length and breadth of the country, Hawk-eyed “Happy” Harry Ingle spotted this guide to Ulverston in his home town and was kind enough to send a copy to me. I wonder how many impersonators Harry has seen in his travels to Sons of the Desert meetings.
